    the great thing about lithophanes is that you don't need a pattern... any photo will do!

    I'll let LRW explain more so I don't steal his (well deserved) thunder, but lithos are truly amazing - and that one is a beauty for sure.

    I agree. they are truly amazing and a lot easier to do than trying to get the same results in wood from a photo....

    Robdoc ... it was donated and auctioned off for charity.

    Happy ... it was taken from a painting by a Gentleman named Eric Hollander ... Eric worked for an Animation Super Power that has a mouse for a mascot. His story is an inspiration to me and his artwork is beautiful ... the Super Power effectually let him go because his religious beliefs kept appearing in his artwork.

    I always use "BEST" and they seem to come out good.
