So Floyd you are ready to carve another PVC sign, now that your CW is clean again!

Yes sir I am! But it will have to wait a couple of days. Pheasant season opens up tomorrow and I am hoping to have a couple to carve up with a knife instead of the CW!

Bottom half carved today. Less issues with the chips this time. DC-INSERT sucked up the majority as they were a lot smaller using the 1/16" carving bit. Paused a few times to blow chips off the rails plus give the rails a wipe down. Size is 18"x10" and was an 8 hour carve on optimal setting.

Now to get on with the painting !

    Ken,

That very same thought hit me also. Guess I better make it look like some wood when I paint it up! I just be you might have some great tips on that!

Just thinking about the static cling and thought maybe if a person would wipe the inside of machine with a dryer fabrick softener sheet may the dust wouldnt be as bad.
I havent tried this on the inside but I have used the sheet on the clear plastic lid cover as suggested by a forum member a while ago and it does keep the fine dust off

    Denny,

That thought did cross my mind. It would be great for the Y rail and bearings.
