I have tried carving MDF in the past and it carved pretty clean for what I was doing. It does create an extreme amount of very fine dust so clean good between carves. If your are going to cut it out with the CW I suggest multiple passes.
    Have a great day!

    mannwranglers,

I've carved several project with MDF, like this one I did for Christmas.
It carves very well and can be painted or faux finished with stains,
But be careful of the fine dust make sure you don't breath it or get it in your eyes.
A few folks have had some bad reactions to the dust, which can be a health hazard to some.
