    So would this make a thread design on a dowel?

    Theoretically, yes it would. There are a lot of variables to consider, but as long as the design is perfect, it should make a thread design on a dowel. I have a feeling that there is going to be a lot of people testing different methods to this.

    Yeah, I seen that Ed, thanks. Now if only we could figure a way to carve a nut to fit. It was just a thought any ways.
