    Capt. Barry,

I hate to sound stupid but I have no idea, how would I know. I just watched each and every video on this and followed what I saw in the videos. The design is 17"L x 7.25"T and it took 58 minutes to cut.

You don't sound stupid at all- it sounds like you're wiser than many are when they first start out and just jump into the deep end. Using the vids/tuts was how I got started too and my machine is the better for it.

Very nice first carve and thanks for sharing it with us. I look forward to many more in the future!

No-No. I think there is misunderstanding here. I should of maybe explained better. In the tool bar there is a setting for the grade of Carveing with the bit, Bit- Optamazation is what you use, you will see a bit looking tool carving a piece of wood. it goes in stages from None , Low, Med. to Best. I like to use the Best setting.I hope this explains BETTER. SORRY, Capt Barry

Schramm, I'm just trying to show that there was a possible way to improve and already good carve.; You don't have to stay on normal all the time , you can use best anytime you want. Capt Barry
