Once it's placed in designer, you may use the "Clip-carving" option to limit the scope of this pattern as needed.
My "Download" link, below, has a lesson titled "Clipping a Carving" should you need to review the "Clip" process.

Welcome to to the forum, it looks like this is your first post. I am not truly sure what you are asking for, but if you are asking to chance the back ground in designer, I take photos of the wood I cut on my Saw Mill. you need to make them in the JPEG format as a 512x512 size and put them in the "wood1" folder in your hard drive in the CarveWright program.
