Too many toys

Does anyone else wish they had all these "reasonably affordable" toys when we were younger? (CW, Laser Engravers, Vinyl Cutters, etc).

I stumbled upon this and it just looks fun. ( it would be interesting to see how an STL file was "printed" on it and compare the same STL carved on the CW.

If someone wants to send me $1700 I'll do it and let you know!!!

amazing, and a cheap price for a 3d printer. Just last year they were 10s of thousands to 100s of thousands (and the material was very costly)

Probably still not too many practical applications for the home user yet--at least at that price. But the technology is certainly getting cheaper by the day.
