  1. Red face New TO CARVEWRIGHT AND NEED HELP WITH A PROJECT

I am just starting out and i need help with a lion that i need
to do for our germanfest. I would like to do this as a donation
to the festival which is coming up oct 1. If anyone could help me
to create this pattern. I would greatly appreciate it. I am attaching
the picture of it. I need the outline of the lion no background.
I don't know if I have posted this is the right place, new to this also.
    Thanks!!!

First, there is no need to double post a item, even if it is in the wrong section. Someone will usually respond.

Here is a quick modification of your lion image.
    Lion.ptn
Most of the box disappeared by "lowering" the pattern as it was accepted. However there were some noise/dots that still existed that I removed with pattern editor.

If you do not have Pattern Editor, it's a very good add-on and comes with the Scanning Probe for just a bit more (about $250.00 or less). I would always get it with the probe, as that scanning ability is priceless!

My "Download" link, below, has several lessons with titles begining with "Importing" or "Pattern" that will help you understand the editing process.

As a aside, if your original image would have had color or gray-scale variation, you could have had a much more interesting carve.

Right click the file and click "Open With" and select GUI.

    It should be possible.
You may need to adjust the depth and/or height.
If you attach your MPC, we might be better able to assist.
