Default another toy box- this time with new dxf files attached

Some of you may remember the Lego toy box I made for my oldest son that I posted about a couple of weeks ago

    http://forum.carvewright.com/showthr...highlight=lego

Well, a friend's mom asked me to make a similar one, albeit a bit shorter. With my festool track saw, knowledge of how many cutters/shims I needed on my dado blades for this mahogany, and the foreknowledge from doing the first one, this one only took a couple of hours to put together. The finish is mahogany gel stain, topped by a couple of coats of fruitwood danish oil sanded in and then wiped off.

Because the "headboard" is a bit smaller too I decluttered the characters on the sides down to just the main characters. They (and the letters) were done on my carvewright using the DXF importer.

Thanks for any comments, and thanks for looking

Looks really nice, as usual. Where did you get the containers?

Wow, nice job Lawrence! What a great looking finish. I don't have any piles of legos, but I can sure see how that would be useful for a million other things. If my wife sees it I may be making one for shoes!

Woman and shoes.... I'll never understand that one. I would think 3 pairs ought to be enough for all occasions.

Lawerence - Great job on both and thanks for sharing the dxf's!

Okay is it just invisible to me? Am I supposed to be seeing the photo of the one you made for the mom for her shoes? I only see the lego one.
