Default mesquite coffee grinder w/native american theme

I took today off of work and decided to have a little fun-- here's a coffee grinder that I've been meaning to make for LOML for a while now.

I made a new lightweight sled for the 1/2 material and just centered each board and carved away. I then used the new waterbased minwax onyx stain on the carves with a small brush. This was the first time I've used this product other than a small test piece-- I have to say, this stuff is AWESOME.

I got mine at Home Depot and it was about $8

Anyway, I finished the piece with some shellac and tomorrow I'll hit it with a quick shot of lacquer, but for all intents and purposes it is done. I'll also include a grouped MPC in case anyone wants to use any pieces.

    Thanks for looking,
    Lawrence

Thank you Lawrence for sharing your patterns. Your grinder is really well done. We have a southwest theme in our living room and I will use your patterns to make a small box. Great work.

That came out great, Lawrence! Very cool and useful...I want to make one too! What is your source for the grinder parts?

Thanks guys- I appreciate the words of support.

I got the grinder from Rockler, but Lee Valley also sells them. They are around $20
