Will either of these help you out?

I'm not sure how to make a jpeg type of picture file to post here so you can see it but load it in designer and see if you can use one of these.

    Hi Jerry,

A quick Screen Shot of your open .ptn or .mpc files saved as a jpg will work in most cases.

Jerry I see you are using win7. Look in all programs for snipping program. All you have to do is have the pattern on the screen, start snipping program, drag /highlight the image area, then choose save in snipping and save the jpg file to your hard drive. I suggest typing the full name including the .jpg, or snipping will make it capitals.
I place the snipping tool on the task bar on the bottom left so I can open it anytime I wish.

Snipping tool is also in vista.
Using Designer 1.187, STL importer, Center line, conforming vectors, scanning probe/PE, and the ROCK chuck.

Thanks guys for the tips on screen shots and using the snipping tools. Sometimes I guess I just get these brain farts and can't figure simple things out.

Here's another way do carve musical notes that may or may not fit your application:

You can also make image prints with the pattern editor if you have the MPW file. The file will be a PNG format.
