    Default Fonts

Is there anyway to add new fonts to the software?

Designer uses the fonts installed on your PC. So, any font installed on your PC will work. You can find a whole board load of free fonts with quick search on Google or Bing.

Remember that once you have loaded the new font to your PC, and placed it in you Font Folder, you probably need to exit Designer and re-access it to allow the program to find the new font.

One more thing to note-- don't forget about dingbats- these are pictures that are turned into fonts. This is one way to get a picture to carve as a vector carving (like a pencil on paper rather than like an old dot-matrix printer)

The way to install the fonts is slightly different for different operating systems- what are you using? (Win 7, Vista, ME, apple, etc)

and one other thing that was forgotten, is that the font needs to be a truetype font (TTF). The software uses true type fonts.

Also remember that not all fonts will carve well.
    Sometimes I'm just totally underwhelmed!
