    Question Will not find BIT!!!

If anyone can help!!!!!!!!!!!.......I put a new Z TRUCK in my CARVEWRIGHT machine with the ROCK CHUCK and now it will not find the bit.

It goes across to the right side and goes down, but it does not go down far enough to touch the POP OUT plate that sticks out!!!!

If anyone can help...please email me!!!

    Thanks,

Sounds like there is not enough of the bit outside of the rock. Normal should be about as much bit hanging out of the rock as when you had the QC and the bits had the collet on them.
Using Designer 1.187, STL importer, Center line, conforming vectors, scanning probe/PE, and the ROCK chuck.

I think I would start looking at the cables. Maybe? Check for shorts?

This is simple but it happened to me a couple of times so I mention it just in case. Ensure that you do not have your bit too far up in the chuck.
