    Default scanning probe tips?

    The scanning probe tips sold thru carvewright are the for protection or do you put them on the prope when you do a scan?

    They are meant to be put over the tip of the probe whenever you are scanning a delicate or precious piece that you do not want to risk being scratched by the metal tip of the probe.

    You can buy these at Hobby Lobby, they are glue tips and are very cheap.

    Yup, Hobby lobby, or Ace, or anywhere that sells model stuff. Heck, I have like 6 and only need 1
