    Default Size of Patterns carved

    To all,

My daughter ask me to carve her an owl, but I need to ask; what is the smallest size pattern one can carve on the CW?

Technically there is no minimum size limit..
Real world the limit is the size of the bit, details smaller than the tip of the bit (1/16") cant be cut.

Why don’t you make the owl pattern and make a test? You can put different sizes on a board and see how they carve on different types of Wood or plastic type material.

What type of OWL pattern are you thinking about?

I made a test, the MPC is too large to post (5.3 MB), PM me with your e-mail - I can send it to you. The images are 1 inch to 6 inches.
