    Default setting for lenght and width

    Why is it when you type in the lenght, the width changes to anohter # is there another way to set that so its the same setting front and back when you do a 2 sided carve

    I presume that you are talking about the sizing of patterns, rectangles , or squares within Designer.

    These items are proportional, therefore, by changing a size entry, or dragging the RED dots you retain the ratio of the original figure. If you wish to change just one facet, try using the YELLOW dots in the middle of each edge.

    Connected line figures could pose similar situations, if you have some items (lines or angles) "locked".

    As to a 2 sided carve, I think we need to see a sample MPC along with some info as to what you need to emulate.
