I never thought of it to be that. Good idea.
In this case Dennis who I am making this for is going to hang it on the wall below the actual Deer head mount.

Dennis who is one of the owners of R&D that I work with each day and share the same office with, has stood fast by me since Carolyn passed, that I felt that I need to do something special for him, he is quite the hunter. So noted the date the deer killed above his antlers.

Talk about your expensive hobby! The cost of the lease, processing the meat, mounting the head...my brother is also an avid hunter, both rifle & bow (which I think he prefers the bow).

That is a special thing you are doing for him.

Can't wait to meet you in May, sorry I missed you when you came by the office last week!

It's carvings like this that get me more excited about the Carvewright.

are those paterns for sale or are the free somewhare?

whats the actual size of this? it's hard to tell in pic. Great Job.

    Lynnfrwd,

How true about the expensive of hunting. Dennis is off this Thursday and Friday to go wild turkey hunting with the bow.

I work less with Dennis when deer hunting season is in play, he is a bow hunter.

I too am looking forward to meeting you in May.

Robert.... your project came out great. I like the way you combined the two patterns.

Pleased to hear that your excited about the CarveWright (CW)

I hand carved and High speed carved for years, this would have taken me days or weeks by hand. The CW carved it and cut it out in 01:36:22 (1hr-36min-22sec)

I purchessed the Deer Head from the CaveBuddywww.carvebuddy.com/ and the Arrow Head from WoodWisdomewoodwisdom.com

Take a look at the Carvewright Pattern Depot, the patterns might be there also.

The arrow is 6.75 top to bottom and the wide part of the arrow is 4.25 from left to right.
