I do have a couple of G's products in my shop but only go there when it is necessary, spent too much there already!

located in Maryland just south of Gettysburg, PA. I just volunteered to start a Maryland group, but if no one joins I would be interested in keeping up with a group in PA. I grew up in Sandy Lake, PA so it is still home to me.

    Default Just outside of Philly

I'm just outside of Philly, in Fort Washington. I just got my Carvewright (actually a reconditioned Compucarve) a couple of weeks ago. A bit frustrated right now, due to some issues I am having. I've only got about 24 hours of carve time on it, and about the same amount of time trying to troubleshoot issues. Anyone who has one of them, and is in the area, I would love to come, or have you come and show me how you run it. I am open to the possibility (probability) that I am screwing something up. I am not ready to give up on it, because I think it still has a lot of potential. But, I just don't know what I might be doing wrong.

I did get everything resolved. I have posted some pics of some of the stuff I have been able to build. Most of my issues were user error type issues, though there were a couple of machine issues which were covered under warranty, and we are good to go. I'd love to show you my machine if you wanted to take a look, but unfortunately I am preparing to move to southern AZ. So I will no longer be in the area after next week.

I am in Shohola, PA a small one horse town near the junction of NY/NJ/and PA... The Indian Name... Shohola is slow moving brook or water.... I see mentioned Ft Washington and Yardley..... When I lived in Bristol, PA working for Sony that was just down the road.... About 150 miles from my Hometown... Look up a little thing called the "Walking Purchase"... We made a deal with the Indians.... Purchase Land for Beaver Pelts or what ever it was in trade... The Distance a Man could Walk "In a DAY"... Well WE Cheated.... Had Runners and Relief Runners.... They ran most of the way to Philly from here.... See big V in the map...

Yesterday I stopped in the Juanita Trading post near Bedford and I swear some of the signs over in the crafts section were made with a Carvewright. Well done to whoever made have made them.
