I just got the message from my machine that it is time to lube the flex shaft. My manual says that the machine would guide me to the correct material and proceedure......it did not. Any help?

The 50-50-90 rule: Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.
Do it on a Mac.

I recently got a 20 hour lub flexshaft notice. I relubed the flexshaft. I later had a problem with my machine ( unrelated to the flex shaft). I had a long conversation with one of the carvewright people. It was an error to leave the flexshaft lub notice on the machine. He told me that if your flexshaft was not HOT do NOT lub it. It should probably be lubed once every 200 hours. The type of lub to use should only be a liquid wrench WITH moley. Please call carvewright or email them before you attempt to lube your flexshaft. More damage could be done using the wrong type of lub than just leaving it alone. Mike
