Lawrence...if I get a chance I'm going to try your Christmas Train as a two-sided carve. Think it would like nice over the fireplace during the holidays.

Thanks all-- the original artist deserves the credit though- (which is why I'm linking all the patterns I post to the original) Once you post it on sketchup it is fair for use.

I'm really just changing the file to suit the carvewright and am glad you all can enjoy the material as well. You'd be astonished how many other sites have free 3d files that you can download, manipulate in meshlab, and then import as an STL. Many/most of these sites allow you to use the material in a final project but do not give permission to distribute the pattern. Sketchup is an exception and you are free to use as you'd like.

I highly (very very highly) recommend purchasing the STL importer. It (in conjunction with the free program meshmixer) allow you to legally and ethically import thousands of free patterns from the internet for use.

Thank again all- I just want to make sure I'm not taking any more credit than I deserve (which is very very little to none) for these patterns

    Very Nice, Perfect Timing Lawrence,

If you happen to have a blank car similar to one you with winows,
folks could add cars with their Kids or Grand Kids names on the them to the Train.

    Just a thought
