    Default human skull

Man... this was tough as far as where to put it... is it "people" or "holiday" (Halloween)... at any rate, here it is. I'm pretty pleased with the way this one came out.

Hope these are helping-- if anyone carves any of these new 2.5D patterns, please share pics. I probably won't get around to doing any of them until this weekend at the soonest.

Thanks again for all y'all have done,
    Lawrence

Well all, here's my first pattern using all Carvewright software in conjunction with freeware. (I used google sketchup's 3d warehouse, the su2stl.rb plugin, the stl importer, and the pattern editor software)

I did quite a bit of work with some of the other free software to try to emulate this effect/model so that I can begin making my own material and selling the patterns in the future... but for now this will have to do.
Hope you like it and as always, your positive or negative feedback is valuable. I'm including both the MPC and the PTN files; please let me know if this is superfluous.

    Default sappho- at rest

    - couldn't let a night go by without a new pattern now could I...

Here is another pattern that I derived with permission from work located on
    Artec Group Inc. here http://www.artec3d.com/gallery/3d-models/
The original STL is from a full bust on a platform, but I think this slice turned out nicely and looks very peaceful. I hope you enjoy it.

once again, I am proud to say that this pattern was done 100% with either purchased software from Carvewright or 100% freeware- no demos/torrents/cracks/ were used in the making of this pattern or the work itself -

Lawrence, nice work on this one. It would look good mirrored and on each end of a carving. Have you gotten into the waco tablet yet. It takes the strain off the mouse usage, and once you get used to it, you will want to use it all the time. I use a graphite 3 on one computer and a bamboo 4x5 on the laptop.
