    Default Flowers

Been playing around with quads today to brush up since hadn't made anything in quite a while...man modeling is addicting. Changed out the center playing around..very simple low poly model model.

Thanks for the video. I'll look at it tonight after work. I completely agree with. Modeling has pretty much supplanted all my other hobbies, including woodworking.

P.S. It is amazing what a difference a little bit of instruction and figuring out a few minor things make for modeling. Thanks for showing me the tutorial. I was already close but the video got me over my learning curve. I had the aha moment. My latest model only took about 4 hours and I am really pleased with it. The dragon was close to 7 hours. I'll see how it carves tomorrow.

I now have one piece in my architectural elements library. I can see how these will be much quicker once I have the techniques down.

Beautiful work, John! Could make a very nice box lid.

    Hi Michael,

Long time..yeah I guess your right...be a cool top...lol...would have to come up with something equally as ornate for the sides. I wasn't thinking box top just playing around mirroring pieces and such

    Default Wall Art

Started playing around with a plane to create some wall art. Pretty simple to do. I had to shrink the size to get the .ptn to upload so just increase size and mirror away

John, that is a gorgeous rosette. And your "wall art" sample could certainly expand into an array of wall pieces. Always enjoying seeing your work.
