Thanks again for sharing oscar!
Norm, you are welcome. It was a 5 minute pattern but fun to make.
Cleaning my pattern folder. Here is a practice piece. It's not very good but before I delete from my files I'll throw in here just in case someone can use it. The idea was a heart created by the dragon head but execution was poor.
Don't feel like cleaning the pattern up. The antlers had some tear out. If planning on carving you will have to apply a small draft and if you can get away with it medium draft to minimize tear out. Otherwise it did carve well.

Thank you oscarl48 for the running deer!!! I'll be able to use that on a out door sign. Thank you.
Awesome. I hope it works well for you. I did have some tear out on the antlers during the test carve so recommend small/medium draft unless carving in hardwood that takes detail well.
Great pattern ! Thanks for sharing.
Dan made a comment recently that using splines was a good skill to have so I've started playing with them. Dan is right again.
This is not a great pattern but it literally took 3 minutes to make using only Designer. With a little bit of time and some patience I can see some impressive patterns being made using only splines with only Designer basic. No other software needed.
For me its a lot easier to use blender but that has taken me over two years learning that software to say that. This technique could be learned in about 2 minutes in designer. Would be great to see some other basic patterns made using this technique.
