  1. Default this would be helpful

an align centers function would be very handy as well as a space evenly function

I'd like to see a function like in Photoshop where I could hide items while working on other parts of a project.

There is one tool which is sorely missing from the included drawing tools and that is a polygon making tool. The tool would be useful if I was allowed to specify how many sides I wanted to my polygon. Now, you have to create one with connected lines but it would be so much easier if we had a dedicated tool for the task.

Additionally, I would sometimes find it useful to have the ability to ROTATE objects created with the drawing tools but those buttons are not active when selecting an object created with the drawing tools.

With regards to the ROTATION tool, it would be helpful in certain instances to have the ability to fine-tune the rotation amount to 1/10th of a degree.

( note : I haven't updated from 1.164 yet. I just realized that maybe these things could have been addressed. If they haven't then I'll leave these items here after I update )

I'm on a roll, so don't stop me now.
Another request, at the conference MT drew a six sided figured and said he could
change it to 8 or 10 sides within the drawing package he was using.
How about adding that feature to the drawing tool package we have,
under the rect. or square button. You would pick the figure and enter the number of sides all to be equal.

Some good and thoughtful suggestions! I would like to build on the "group" command so you could group shapes, lock them, key in a specific angle/location and then unlock or ungroup them.

Also, being able to center multiple shapes to a "master" shape rather that the center of the board.

I agree - rulers definitely! Maybe reference lines like Photoshop

    Flyboy,

You might give LHR a phone call and ask them about purchasing the software. Of course, you can download the software as a limited time demo anyway, but I'm not so sure what the software can do for you in being converted to G-Code, as you don't have access to the machine workings in the software, and it's not open architecture.

Found myself working around this little problem while working with a sled...

It would be handy to edit the tabs height when working on a cut out, so you can safely cut out a part from a stacked work piece.

I hope i didnt miss this somewhere.
