The CW is great for making picture frames wouldn't it be great if it would cut mats to. Or can we

This is more hardware than software, how about a usb port on the machine, that way we can use a usb stick. Imagine how much you could put on a 8 GB stick...

I know that is more want than need, but would be neat....

I would like to see the option of removing all attachments placed on an object or pattern instead of having to remove each one individually. Select the object, right click it and have the option to remove all attachment constraints - simple.

I agree.
I can give you just a small bit of time savings.
Highlight all the figures by going to the Carve List, holding the CTRL Key and Left clicking each one. From there you may Right click on any YELLOW Attach/Dimension point and the Edit/Remove screen appears. You may move the the next point and repeat the process without having to go back to the selection process as they remain highlighted.

I would love to see an option in the text tool to "follow path" or align text to path.

Right now I find I have to break longer lines of text up and set different angles if I want them to follow a non circular path.

Still would like to see Auto Vector line tracing available in CW Designer with a drop-down Options menu.

As long as im dreaming.. it would be nice to select a "text" color and have designer render the text on screen using that color. I know this isnt really a functional upgrade.. merely an asthetic upgrade to help visualize a finished sign before its painted.

Add additional counters to track carve time for each bit. Obviously we would also need a way to reset the counter for each bit. So when we sart using a new carving bit for example, when we hit 40,50,60 hours then we know it is about time to order another.

These are some of the Tapers and Balls we/I would like to have in the "Select Surface" Option. The reasoning is that you could then apply then to any given shape, rather than trying to manipulate the other processes.
