    Default Compound Miters

I have a CompuCarve and so far am very pleased. I do however wish someone would share with us how to design compound miters or just miters with the software.

    Thanks,

    Henry

Miters and Bevels are done directly from the key pad It does not do compound miters .It will do miters across the grain straight up and down 90 deg. like for picture frames , either 45 degrees or custom.
Bevels can be done 90 deg. to the fence across the grain 45 deg. only at this time. Or , with the grain on the far side at 45 deg. , then turn the board and do the other edges. Miters are done with the 1/8" cutting bit.
Bevels are done with a 1/4 " roundrover bit.
Start the machine up as normal then push 5 Miter and follow promps on screen.

Thank you Dan. I will give it a try. It did however state on the side of the Sears CompuCarve box that it will do compound miters.

    Thanks again.

I think you can also delete your own posts if you make a duplicate, or change your mind.
