Thread: Retirement Plaque for 40 Years.

  1. Default Retirement Plaque for 40 Years.

After 40 years of Volunteer service ... serving as a fire fighter, ambulance driver, EMT, fire chief, ambulance chief, the fire board, the ambulance board and most recently the administrator of the 3rd largest all volunteer district in the state of Illinois ... Robert "Bob" Worner has decided to Retire.

The plaque measures 12x22 and the space at the top was cut to allow an 8x10 photo to be placed in it. Bob's son Mike was a Navy photographer and he is putting together a collage of some of the equipment that Bob has run over the years. The oldest of which was a Cadillac hearse/ambulance ... should be interesting.

We were honored to be part of this project ... I will post pics of the finished plaque later.

Seems we're both working on 40 year plaques LRW. Handsome plaque you've created there.

Fine plaques all-- LRW, I really like your paint job.. it highlights the badges very well and the picture holder is a nice touch.

Mike, is that a picture of your work building? If so how did you do such a nice 3d rendition?

Capt Bruce-- yours is nice as well. I appreciate the use of centerline (I do so often) and like your mixture of fonts

    Mike,
I second Lawrence's compliment. Is that a commercial Corps emblem pattern or did you develop the design in 3D? I'd like to add that to my collection as I'm getting more USACE requests and my first attempt was very simplistic and drawn by hand to meet the deadline.
    Thanks

Beautiful plaques, Little Red. I love the color a lot. It really makes it pop out. I'm assuming the topmost picture is going to have a photo in it? What did you use for your colors?
