I've been sent this picture of a customer's snowmobile to carve on a sign for them.
I've tried a sample of carve of the picture two ways. The sled on the left is my attempt at "3d" as per the tips and tricks article and the one on the right is simply importing the pic into Designer after making it black and white.
I prefer the "3d" one but would like more detail such as the "2d" one gives. However in both carves, the windshield is missing. Can someone help to fix this up for me alittle? I'm trying to learn the art of pattern making but am very much a newbie.

Thanks Jerry, that is a beautiful sign.

Now that I take another look at the original pic I realize there really isn't much of a windshield at all. Which is maybe why the part between the handlebars and hood looks alittle strange when it carves.

Unfortunately I'm still in need of help with this pattern. Jerry's sign is beautiful but it's a picture of a jet ski on it, not a snowmobile. Thanks anyway Jerry.

Maybe someone can just tell me how to do the "3d" like I did, but get more detail in it, please?
