    Default Carve region problem

I'm making a couple of wine boxes for xmas gifts. The lid for the first one came out with parts of the lid a bit (1/16") proud of the box sides. Since the lid was curved with a vertical dome surface, I added a second carved region with a vertical dome--1/1/6" depth--to add a nice detail and make the lid flush with the sides. It looked good in designer.

The machine, however, carved that region flat and deeper--it's flush with the edges of the first carve region (.3"). Has anyone else seen this? Is it a known problem with 1.175?

(BTW--the excess stock on the sides gets trimmed off on the table saw...)
