Z axis stall error 313

I have not used the machine in 4 months. This is the first time I try to use it. It stalls right away with thi error message.

At first blush, that would sound as if the vertical bearings are dry/frozen, or the vertical rails need lube.
With the machine off, move the truck up & down to be sure it moves freely.

Yes it moves freely up and down,
