More important, is knowing what you were doing at the time of the error.
Was this during a probe scan or during a carve?
If during a carve, it would be nice to see the MPC and know what portion of the carve (or set-up) was being done at that time (and where it was located at the time of the failure). The "Z" action is the up & down movement of the truck.

I just experienced the same error. After doing a carve using the 1/8" cutting bit, I put in the next board. During the setup proceedure the machine started off by asking for the 1/8" bit, since it was already in there I just hit enter, it started doing it's thing and when it went over to the far side where the flag flips out the bit hit the flag one time and stalled showing this error. I tried several times and even powered the machine down, still same stall 313 error, took the bit out, set it to length and put it back in. The error went away and I was on my way again. What I think happened was the bit worked it's self out on the last project and was out too far to please the machine, now I'm no expert but that is what I believe happened as after resetting the tool it did seem to be much shorter and it made the stall error go away.

The problem is that it hit the flag before it "expected" to - therefore the stall.

    Default error 313

    Thanks for your comments.

I tried switching ends of the flexshaft, opened the cover at back, cleaned it but I will try it again, will change the bit and hope it works.

No it was not during carving. I have not used the cw for almost 4 months during the summer.

Opened the cover at back, made sure the clear plastic flywheel does not touch sides, put it back together and I stll have the error message 313.
