Thread: Deer Or Longhorn Skull & Antlers?

  1. Exclamation Deer Or Longhorn Skull & Antlers?

I'm trying to help my grandpa make an outdoor sign for his new taxidermy shop in Idaho City, but I can't seem to find a good pattern. After it's cut, I'd like to fill in the main detail lines with black paint, then stain the skull white and the antlers brown. CarveWright had a "Longhorn Skull" pattern for sale, but it just wasn't quite right because the outside edges were flared and the detail wasn't very good. I know the basics of how to use the machine, but I don't know how to make my own patterns. The photo he is using for his fliers is attached so that you can see what I am looking for. Help anyone?

Very Cool Deer Skull. I wonder if that can be carved in separate pieces... 2 antlers and skull. That way you can make the whole project as big as you want. I guess afterwards just glue the antlers on the skull. I might have to try this on Designer when I get back to my home PC. Thanks again. I guess someone could even make a Longhorn skull and horns. Maybe a design (Lonestar) on the skull..... hmmm

Hi JerryB, this pattern can not carve separately. I will try to make one that can.
    Thanks.
