Thread: De-authorizing one of two licenses

Angry De-authorizing one of two licenses

Is it still true that the only way to de-authorize a computer is to call LHR? This seems more than a little inefficient since we have a customer login to our info. I had to replace one of my two licensed computers but now cannot get the software to authorize as both my licenses are in use. Why don't they let properly licensed users de-auth their own computers? Especially since LHR has no support on weekends when many woodworkers/CarveWright users are in their shops?

    Larry,

It only takes about a minute on the phone to remove an unused computer and add a new one. Quick and easy.

We do have to be at the office. I can't even do it remotely or I would.

I needed deauth on Labor Day weekend - couldn't use the machine until Tues.

Why only two - can't we get 3 or 4? You can only use the software if you have a machine, but I have to pick one computer that I can't use the designer on (I have a home pc, work, and a laptop).

An additional license that would allow 2 more computer installs is available for purchase at $150.00.

$150 is ridiculous! Maybe $25 per extra install would be worth it.

How many computers can you license if you have 3 Carvewright machines?

Its actually two computers per machine, and that is only for the basic software package. Adding a new machine does not add more licenses to the premium, add-on features like Centerline, DXF, STL, Pattern Editor, etc.
