    Question Carvetight with Homing sensor

    Hello,

The instructions for the carvetight system says nothing about swapping in the homing sensor into the new unit. The homing sensor was already broke on the board prior to removing the Z track and we noticed that the homing sensor board was not going to fit into the new carvetight Z track.

I have a few questions. 1) is the homing sensor board required for operation? 2) does the hole have to be drilled larger for the scanning probe jack?

    Thanks,

    Tony

    Hey,

If you have the new z-truck motor with the 14 pin flex cable you don't need the homing sensor. This upgrade eliminated that sensor. To use the probe you need to use the port on the left side of the cover. Hope this helps. Mike
