Thread: Jewelry Boxes

  1. Default Jewelry Boxes

I have been trying to upload some shots of the boxes I made from purple heart and oak to my gallery but the system won't let me. I get the message that my photos exceed the gallery size even though there are no photos uploaded. Can someone help? Attached is one of the images, the others show more detail. The inside has two removable trays that is lined with red flocking. Hinges with hidden stays were purchased from Lee Valley Tools. All carvings were done using the basic patterns that came with the machine. My wife, Oleanna, poses with them to provide a scale reference for the size of the boxes.

    Thumbs up

    Frederick,

I'm not going to be able to help with the Gallery posting problem as I'm still struggling with the same system. I think it may simply be photo size (resolution) but have not had the time to experiment and succeed.

I do need however to compliment your artistry with the purpleheart and oak jewelry boxes and the lovely Oleanna is as always stunning. Congratulations Sir!

Thanks for the kudos! Well, the system accepted the images but will not allow me to add them to the album. In fact, all I need to do is click the "Add Photos" button and I get the error message, even before I select any images. They are all sized within the requirements, anyway so I don't get it. I suppose could try posting them here.

    Your work looks fantastic

Have you tried getting a photobucket account
    www.photobucket.com
They are free and you can up load all the pictures of your work
to photo bucket site into a album you name.
then just post a link here to that album and everyone
can view your work there or you can get a link for a picture
and add it to your post here.

I think is a better way to go then the thumb nail pics.
just as a example here is a link to my photo bucket album sand carved glass art.

    Frederick,

Really Top Shelf Quality Jewelry Boxes

I just went through the samething with several Photo and file sizes Friday,
and getting the same error messages when I tried to load and post them in an album.
Lynn for LHR was kind enough to push some buttons and do a bit of tweaking
at their end to help me out. If you can, see if get a hold of Lynn tomorrow,
it will be time well spent.

Ah -- I see you got your Album up, if you click on a Photo in the "edit pictures" menu
you can choose it as your Album Cover
