Epoxy resin question

Is it possible to carve a sheet of epoxy resin without damaging the CW? Just the resin - no fiberglass.

I think it's going to depend on the epoxy. There is a huge variation in epoxy characteristics and many other none epoxy products get thrown in under the generic term of epoxy.
But my first gut feeling is that it is going to tend to melt not machine clean. But that assumption only based on cast epoxy I have used in the past.
