    Default Pattern Needed

does anyone have a pattern of a baseball? The one for sale in CW stowe is convexed and I may need one that is flat. Or if I use the curved on how do I get lettering put on top to follow that same curve?

Click on the TEXT, on the Carve list, and select the (+) MERGE. That should do the trick.

Change the DEPTH , on your Ball, to .400.

Possibly a dome behind the Ball to give it a little lift

How did you apply the dome, I can't figure it out? That is better but I still would like the ball closer to the surface of the piece. Anyone with a pattern?

    Default Base Ball Plaque

The done or inverted dish is a separate pattern at I added to your mpc,
placing it behind or under another pattern will lift it or round it-out.

The surface of the Project board is the highest you can lift a pattern,
with out making a Carve region to lower the rest of the surface,
or carving another mpc pattern separately and adding or gluing it the the first boards surface.
At least as far as I can remember.

    Here is another concept.
Note all the new depths and heights, as well as all the "Merge" settings.

I chose to make it a cut-out, rather than making it appear to be recessed.
As designed, I would place this on a larger sled, so that I have the needed width rails to avoid problems.

If you decide not to use a sled, or rails, you will need to make your design board larger for the same reason.

Could someone help me I would like to use this baseball for my girls T-ball coach I just found out today he has cancer and is in his 6th week of kimo therapy i would have never know he is at every game/pratice coaching his heart out to these kids he shows no pain or problems on the field and i was shocked to hear this i would like to change the top part to Marlins and the bottom part to T-Ball and his name Ratcliff on the baseball if some one could please help as i have only had my machine a few months and have not yet learned how to make these changes. THis guy is only about 30-35 years old and to me he is amazing to never slow down and take the time to teach these kids including his son on the team the fundimentals of the sport. He is diffeently the best coach out there in my book with all that is going on in his life with no compliants only makes me feel like a fool to complian about my life day after day. So this plaque is the least i could do. Also i would be up to any other ideas or suggestions any one would like to throw out there i would also pay for a better idea or pattern if i need to. Thank you in advance for all of your time and help.
    Russell
