question on plate that flips in on the right side of the CW

The bit is touched to this plate which flips in from the right side base and come in contact with the tip of the bit. No clue what it is really called but I need to know the answers to a few questions

What is the plate called in the documentation?

Where is it in the parts list? I looked in the Assembly Guide and Parts List several times and don't see it. I'm sure it is there somewhere I just haven't found it.

Should it have up/down play? I can push on it and the free end gives about 1/8".

Mine is the same as yours. Just a little wiggle, been that way since I got it.
It's called the bit plate or touchdown plate on the forum, not sure in the parts list though...

Hey, yes it's a bit touch plate and it does have a little play in it. don't know the part number though...is your's broken?

Page 5 on the view, part list number 84. It is tough to figure out that's what it is.
