Thread: Corion

  1. Default Corion

Has anyone carved, or used the corion typ counter top material with the carvewright? I have used it on my ringmaster machine, and or course with routers. Whould appreciate any experience or thoughts and suggestions on this. I am waiting, well over a week now, for replacement bits that came with the unit so I will not be able to use the unit at all, hope to have them in a day or two. Thanks in advance for any thoughts on the corion.

I have done several signs and cutting boards with corian materials. The CarveWright machine hasn't shown any difficulty cutting any of these. I do pause it and keep the plastic chips cleaned out so they don't get into anything that might overheat and melt them. Using my shop-vac keeps it in good working order. Good luck with your projects.

You're best off to try and get sink cut outs from a counter top place. SOme places sell them, other give them away.
