    Default ground wire

I just put a dust collector fitting on machine and i have a question about ground wire. I see some users have clipped wire to infeed or outfeed table or metal sides of machine. The carvewright base and top caps are plastic so sides and tables are really not grounded to machine. Should i be concerned about this or will grounding method work ok?

From the any or all of those points the wire is run to a actual electrical ground "connection"
--- Like the screw in the center of an outlet, a copper plumbing pipe, or an electrical grounding rod.
