    Default Wedding chest #2

Last fall I gained another Daughter-in-Law and made her a wedding chest. I wanted it to be similar but yet different from the one I made a couple of years ago for my first Daughtert-in-Law. Here was the first one: http://forum.carvewright.com/showthr...wedding&page=2

The heart pattern was purchased from James at Vector 3D Art. I used all cherry which was stained and then laquered. For this project I even made the trim moldings.

I used centerline on the top panel before I raised the panel and added the rails and stiles.

    The chest measures aprox. 12" x 12" x 24" w/o the trim.

That's about it, thanks for looking and I hope you like what I came up with this time. Sorry for the picture quality, I had to resize everything in order to post them.

Wow...top notch!! Thanks for sharing, that is a beautiful chest that I am sure she will cherish for many many years!!! If she enjoys it half as much as I enjoyed seeing it you have it made in the shade!!

    Jim,

That is certainly a professional job! I love the classy design, and your choice of using cherry for the project makes it even more stunning. Superb!

    Default chest

    VERY NICE

I love the cherry , has turned into my favorate wood to work with.

cuts works with the carvewright , like how the grain pops in the backgrounds.
