    Default Projects-Showing off...

It's been awhile since I've posted any projects so thought I'd take this opportunity.

    (1) I promised Stanv I'd post his Eagle Cribbage Board when I finished it .... I really liked the way it turned out.

    (2) I don't remember who posted this cribbage board but it carved nicely too. I did have several misaligned holes but think it was due to the 1 1/4 inch oak board I used. I probably didn't use enough masking tape for the amount of weight.

    (3) The next three are Michael T's POM offerings and those always turn out so nice.

Hey SharonB, I have a question for you. On your stacked books project can you tell us how you finished the other sides that you didn't show. Meaning the edge of where the pages would be. Maybe you can post another picture. I'm getting ready to put a finish on mine but got stumped on how to do that part. Thanks

Jerry.... here are the "pages." I don't know just how well they will show as I took them this evening.

Edit: Forgot to add I used a course sandpaper (80 grit-pulling in as straight line as possible) on the "pages" before painting so the Burnt Umber paint had a place to pool.

    Sharon B.

Once again you have out done you're self.

Fantastic finishing on the pages, they take on the look of real pages.

    Thank you for you sharing.
