Default How to mirror a pattern

    To all,

I have made the Lincoln penny and it was a great project. Having done so, I got creative and came with my own desing for a bank that being a skeleton. My only problem is "mirroring" the inner rings. I'm trying to get the rings to glue together with the coin hole facing each other when glued. I have attached the pattern for hopes of some assistance. Am I trying to do too much with the machine? Thanks for any help I can get.....

You will need to put the coin hole on the back side of one the rings..

    OR,

    Flip one set of rings..

Also just noticed that the skull patterns are licensed and should not really be posted..

Thanks for the advice, was not attempting to do anything ulawful, but merely letting everyone know what I was attempting to do. I have removed the skull portion of the project. So based on what you stated earlier, I simply need to flip the board over and put the coin hole on that side, right? So when I cut out the pattern, I will have to flip the board in order to get the other ring cut correctly. My only question is, what does the term "mirror" means, is it not different from copy? I know this maybe splitting hairs and I am certianly not blasting the help, just an observation. Maybe the engineers at CW can deploy this feature in the future if it is deemed useful. At any rate, thanks a bunch!! You ROCK!

    MIRROR

I just did a test of one of my dog patterns and here is what I discovered.

If you "mirror" an outline, the outline appears the same in each of the 4 areas (just like a copy).
However if you "mirror" the pattern the images all change to true mirror shapes. From there you may set a new outline, on each, and then delete the patterns if you wish.
