Not trouble just a question

I put I piece of MDF in the machine to practice and I put my hand on it to see if it sets flat. It didn't, made me think the board wasn't flat but I think its setting on the guide wheel? Is the board supposed to wobble a little like that since the guide wheel is higher and it will get layed down once I bring the head down?

Guess I should of tried the board off to the side where it only set on the belts, just wondering.

Did you crank down the head to pressure on the board? I am not sure but maybe that gear pushs down flat once the head is down on it.

That's what I am thinking, that it will be wobbly until the head gets cranked down, just making sure.
