    Default Texas Hold'em piece

This is a simple piece that I put together for a Texas Hold'em poker table project. This is an early prototype to be inserted into the center of the table to be covered with glass. The image of Texas was cut out of 3/8" plywood. I took a digital photo of the cutout while it was lying on plush midnight blue carpet. Uploaded to the software, did the layout for the board and the machine did the rest. The flash of the camera did wash out some of the detail and texture. You might be able to tell that the area outside the state of Texas is rather coarse looking. (it is course in fact)
This was a by product of the photo on the carpet. The digital image picked up the texture of the carpet fibers and translated it to the finished relief. Totally unintentional but an effective end result.
