    Default Board thickness question

    Hi Guys
Got my new board sensor installed.
    Now measuring board correctly.
Now i'm trying to run a project
on a 1/2 sheet of plywood.
after it asks me to load 1/8 bit
    it says insert board thickness.
I enter .500 and it keeps going back
    to o. won't except 1/2 either.
    any thoughts.

    Thx Jeff

If you have 2 boards stacked together that = 1 inch or more and it asks you to enter the board thickness you need to enter the PROJECT BOARD thickness. If I understand what you are trying to do....

Did it ask you PROJECT or BOARD? Board would be carrier and project board. By selecting PROJECT it will cut the top board on a sled only.

I had trouble understanding your question so hopefully this helps.

There is a bunch on this topic in Tips and Tricks that will help

    Good Luck,

Your board may be a hint under 1/2 in. thick, which could also cause problems.

    Cool

    Jeff, just a thought

The last skid or two of 1/2" Plywood I got was thinner than .05,
so when I stacked two layers of it together - It measured a little less than 15/16",
I had put it on a carrier board and entered the combined measured thichness to carved it.

Not to mention the 2cents for thought (may actually be worth less)!
