Hey there, I know how you feel. Just like anything else that has a bunch of moving parts, the cw can be tempermental. In simple terms, this machine is a POS!!!
I am in Colorado as well and might be able to help out, a little. I'm no superman with the cw, but maybe we can learn a couple of things if we put our heads together. Just a thought. Let me know, thanks.
I have come to the same conclusion. this thing is a money pit. I am now getting a z axis stall 313 error message. This was only part way thru the carve. I stopped the machine to vacuum out the sawdust, just like I have before but when I started it again, ERROR. Any offers?
The act of Vacuuming the machine out is known to make big static charges that kills the machine.
Reboot and try it again. Either it works or you smoked the computer.
As for the Money Pit.. Once you change out the now parts that make the machine more trouble free and understand the tips and tricks your good to go....
Also getting a Rock will prevent the L2, Board Sensor and C1 problem in the future.... Pay me now or pay more later.... Buy a rock.
Good Luck,

Yep, put in another $500 and you might have something that works. Well, I'm not doing it and the machine is for sale. You pick up.
