    HiDoug,

I totally agree with you on that, every program has it's limits - Designer is no exception, and that other progrms may/can do a better or fast job.
This has been my way of pushing the limits of the Desinger software, and I have to admit it does surprise me now and then.
I just like to see what any program really can do.
Believe it or not the Star Holiday Sweets Dish I post earlier, was all done in MS Word
just using the Insert Option Menu before it I imported it into Designer.

    To Me It's all Fun.

Ok, I gave it a try!! Had problem with the cut out, I did a rect. carve region on both sides of .800 which I think is not correct for the carve.

    Great learing/teaching tool Ken!!

    Default “Mind Games”

    FWHarris,

Very Nicely Done, looks like you've got it!
Even when you set the Carve Regions at .80 it still leaves a chin whisker worth
of wood to hold everything from flying apart that doesn't show up in Designer.

Now tag you it for the next one!!

Not really, -- Anyone is welcome to post one or more if you like.

    Ken,
Thanks!! That was a fun exercise for both the forum search feature, designer, pattern editor and image software. I worked on it until 2am, signs of a carveaholic, but I did not have a good ring pattern. Got frustrated trying to make one. But you did help out with the added post.

Surprised that I was the only one to give it shot though!!

I might pass on setting up the next one for now.

ok.. not exact... but I think it is fairly close. I deicded I would give it a whirl tonight.

BTW... I used 11 elements per side (well 11 show up in carving list.. some are mirrors)...

    Hey Doug There ya go,

I feel that it really doesn't hurt to jog or tweak the old gray matter once in and a while.
I'll start on another one when I get home later to day.

The one image posted shows the carving list. I see only one piece on that. How do you make this carve with only one piece?

    Thanks,
    Bill
