incorrect measurement

I have tried to different pieces of poplar 11 X 18 for a project. With both pieces the machine asks me if I want to scale to length. It is measuring both boards at 10.93 and 10.98 inches instead of 18. I've check and they are straight and flat pieces of wood. Any ideas?

Are you using the Measure function to get those values, or are they being reported by a project you're trying to run? I'm trying to gauge whether the machine might be subtracting some length from the board in order to Auto-Jig a project that requires additional support.

Did it ask for Auto-Jig when you uploaded the project?

The project is roughly 13 X 9 and the board setting in the project was 14 10. I wasnt asked to autojig. I Tried the same pieces with another project that I had set the board settings to the size of the wood and I get the same issue.
