What happened?
There is a 4 1/2 in gap in this carving.
The N in Unique and between the E and A in Creations
has a huge gap in it..... there was not an electric flicker
i was in the garage the whole time, i did not use
any other electric tools. Any idead?

The only thing that I could suggest is that the brass roller skipped a good bit of your board. Might check to see if the rubber "damper" is in place under the brass roller assembly.
Al should say something about masking tape about now!

Tape
There was tape on it... Thats what gets me.....

Check the tape and see if you see the tracks from the brass. I would bet that the tracks disappear for about 4 inches.
